It is also worth taking note that most of these registry cleaners don’t mention anything about being Vista ready which means they are really not up date cleaners and probably don’t measure up in many other ways, either.

So, is this free registry cleaner really free? No! Not at all! In fact, there a many very reputable, up to date ones that are less expensive and do a much better job. So, let the buyer beware. Read all the fine print before you agree to try anything that is advertised as free.

The best way to find out which product will work well on your computer is via word of mouth. Some one who has used a product could tell you a lot about it. Also, if you know someone who works on computers, he/she would be able to make a reliable recommendation as well.
