My weight started to become an issue when the amount of exercise that I was getting started to decrease because of other things that took its place when I became a teenager and young adult.</p>

<p>I did not have a certain thing that I had to eat. There was no doubt that I found it hard to pass up certain things that tasted great like cake. But I also enjoyed vegetables and fruits and other healthy things. The problem I had was that I always ate too much. I loved to go to buffets where I could stuff myself, but I hated the looks that people would give me. It was like the people watching me were judging me, and they were right.</p>

<p>I was able to graduate high school and college. After college I went to work in my field of study. I enjoyed the company of many friends and seemed happy on the outside. The truth was that I did not like what I was doing. I could not control the way that I ate and I hated that. I considered how I would eat next and it seemed to be my number one priority.
