<p>For any person attempting to lose weight, burning fat is the most important thing you can do. If you&#8217;re not burning fat all you&#8217;ll lose is muscle, and the more muscle you lose the more fat you&#8217;ll actually gain. Muscle mass naturally has a higher metabolic rate during your body&#8217;s resting state. If your body has a higher fat percentage it will slow your metabolism down.</p>
<p>Don&#8217;t neglect your breakfast. As soon as you wake up in the morning, your body has just completed an 8 hour fast. After enduring such a fast without nutrients, your body enters a catabolic (muscle wasting) state and will begin to break down protein. This is an important time to get some much needed food as soon as possible. A healthy breakfast is critical to any successful fat-burning diet.</p>
<p>Consume a meal every 2 to 3 hours. This means that you will be eating a meal 5 to 6 times a day. Not only will this kind of meal regime stimulate muscle maintenance and fat loss, it is also an essential technique for controlling food cravings. You see, when people miss a meal, or neglect eating for a while, their blood sugar plummets, and their will power becomes weak. In other words, people who go a long time without eating are much more likely to cheat on their diet. Thus, eating every two to three hours will help eliminate those cravings that may be the main reason that you have failed all dieting attempts in the past.</p>
<p>Even if you are one of the few who can fight off the cravings for food caused by missing meals, you must still be careful. If you go without eating too regularly, your body will actually activate enzymes that store fat. This will make losing weight much more difficult. So don&#8217;t do it! Eat!</p>
<p>You must reduce how many carbs your eating. Your body&#8217;s fuel will be attained from a mixture of protein, carbs and fats. When you reduce your carbohydrate intake, your body&#8217;s stores of carbs get quickly depleted. This forces your body to utilize a higher amount of free fatty acids (fat) for fuel. Decreasing carbs will also cause a hormonal fat-burning effect. When you reduce cards, insulin (a storage hormone) is lowered and glycogen (a fuel mobilizing hormone) increases. This causes a greater number free fatty acids to be released from fat cells and burned, assuming that you&#8217;re working out properly.</p>
<p>Choose compound exercises over isolation exercises. Compound exercises use more than one muscle across several joints, and isolation exercises attempt to train only one muscle at a time. The advantage of using compound exercises is that you will be training the most muscle in a given amount of time.</p>
<p>Generally, the more muscle you stress per exercise, the greater the energy (calorie) demand will be on your body. This obviously burns more calories, which is definitely a good thing, but it also stimulates the body to hold on to its lean muscle during fat burning phases, which aides your body in keeping your resting metabolic rate up. In addition, compound exercises have been shown to stimulate the release of your body&#8217;s natural anabolic hormones. This further helps you maintain lean muscle.</p>
<p>Be accountable to someone. If you unable to afford a trainer full-time, hire one to write your diet and exercise programs for you and monitor your progress. You may only need to be in contact with your trainer once a month, but having them there will offer you someone you are accountable to on a continual basis. This will help you stay focused.</p>
<p>If you can&#8217;t, or don&#8217;t want to work with a trainer, attempt to find someone to work out with. This will make you more committed to exactly when and where you will be working out. There will be less missed workouts, and you&#8217;ll have more consistency in the gym and your workouts in general. If this is impossible or undesirable to you, attempt to find one good friend who totally backs you, and who doesn&#8217;t mind you calling them up every few days and reporting your progress. It may seem like your friend is almost like a sponsor in an AA meeting at times, but in saying this, that&#8217;s not such a terrible thing to possess in your life when you&#8217;re trying to lose weight. This is even more important when you&#8217;re continually in the company of people who don&#8217;t care about what they eat.</p>

<p>There are hundreds of new products, pills and routines out there that will claim to be the fastest way to build muscle to burn fat. Some of these products do work. Some of them will make you feel guilty for buying them in the first place. The rest are just a pile of junk and you know it.</p>
<p>The &#8220;SOME&#8221; that work only work to the extent of giving you quick results for a short period of time. Did you know that your body can adapt to any routine within 4 to 5 weeks? Why wait that long and get disappointed? </p>
<p>It is simple logic that muscle burns fat. Have you seen muscular people getting fat easily? If you build more muscle, your body will use the fat as energy and everything else to help sustain the muscle and increase muscle growth. So why focus on cardio and aerobics when you can focus on building muscle that will automatically help burn the fat?</p>
<p>1. Got for total body exercises that target major muscle groups like Chinups, Squats and Deadlifts. These exercises work the major muscle groups to their greatest potential, and also utilize the smaller muscle fibers in the process. This is a great way to burn fat while building muscle.</p>
<p>2. If you want real muscle growth, you need to work hard in every workout. Go to your max. Compete against yourself in your previous workout. If you did 8 reps Bench Press with 150 lbs last week, go for 9 or 10 reps with the same weight in your next workout. Or increase your weight and train to failure. Keep progressing in every workout.</p>
<p>3. Eat to build lean muscle not fatty jiggle. Focus on feeding your body with low GI carbs, fruits and green fibrous vegetables to build the lean, ripped body you need. Stay away from junk food. </p>
<p>4. Don&#8217;t overtrain yourself. Get atleast 8 hours of sleep everyday. The growth hormone levels are high when you are asleep helping your body to recover faster and build more muscle. The more tired and stressed out you remain, the less growth your body will face.</p>
<p>5. Stick to bodyweight exercises and free weights. They are 1000 times better than machines. As long as you aren&#8217;t doing ab exercises like the Kneeling Cable Crunch, you should always stick with bodyweight exercises and free weights to get optimal results.</p>
<p>The 5 simple tweaks or one would say changes to your current efforts can bring great results to your progress in the future. You will lose a lot of fat and get more ripped and defined if you follow the steps accordingly to achieve your dream body in no time!</p>
