An all-natural Acne Treatment That Work!

Thursday, November 27th, 2008

Acne can be both annoying and embarrassing, but you don’t have to just live with it. Even if you have tried ways to get rid of acne in the past without any success, today we wanted to show you how natural acne treatments can clear your skin.

Acne sufferers often complain about all the useless treatments which fill the drugstore shelves. There’s a lot of junk out there that doesn’t work at all. There’s other products that seem to work for a week or two and then they quit working altogether.

In all reality, it’s painfully obvious why these products fail. Practically all of these products are designed to get rid of pimples that are already on your skin instead of actually treating the problem behing your acne. While some creams may get rid of the pimple itself, it will soon be replaced by another and the cycle will continue.

It’s hardly surprising then that so many sufferers become disheartened and many even resort to prescription medication. When one considers that there are perfectly natural cures which treat the root cause and result in perfectly clear skin, it becomes apparent why the risks of possible drug related side effects are so unnecessary.

Let’s quickly go over the main causes of pimples. They are: excess oil on the skin, clogged up skin pores, inflammation or irritation of the skin and certain types of bacteria on the skin. You have to treat all of these causes in order to be able to say goodbye to your acne.

The best acne treatments will work as a system and make sure that all the causes are being addressed. This usually means that you will have a “kit” that includes a couple of steps. As an example, the kit might have a facewash, a spot cream and a moisturizer. Each component is designed to complement the others and they work as a team to fight pimples.

A lot of people are surprised by how simplistic this advice is. It makes a great deal of sense, but sadly 95% of the acne products out there ignore this fact. I imagine they want to make a product that doesn’t work quite good enough so that people continue to but it over and over again.

This much I can guarantee – If you eliminate all the causes of your acne the results will be visible in just a few days. Irrespective of how severe your acne is, it can be cured and cleared up permanently. It’s great feeling to have clear skin – you can do it!

Acne ? The Solution is Related to The Cause

Thursday, November 27th, 2008

All acne is not caused by the same thing. There are many different reasons why people have problems with acne. Some people say it is caused by the foods you eat. Actually, there has never been any proof that eating certain foods causes acne or makes it worse.

It is well documented that most young people going through puberty suffer from acne due to hormonal changes, but there are still many question as to why some have it worse than others.

Acne is actually caused in part by natural processes that the skin goes through to take care of itself. Our skin automatically moisturizes itself by sending sebum through the sebaceous glands to the skins surface. Though this is a natural process if the pores in the skin are clogged by dirt, dead skin or possibly to much sebum then bumps will form and you will have a problem with acne. That is why if you have acne problems it is important to keep your skin very clean and exfoliated.

Keeping Skin Clean May Not Be Enough

Many parents had also told their kids that washing their face twice a day helps keep the skin acne away, but in many instances, simply washing the face with soap and water is not enough. The dead skin cells will still exist, especially for those who use a soft washcloth or no washcloth when soaping up their face, neck and other areas of their body. To prevent skin acne from popping up, the dead skin cells must be removed before they become a problem.

If your skin is inclined to regular break outs you do not want to make the problem worse by adding things that lead to clogged pores. Oil will definitely clog your pore so it is better not to use anything on your face that has oil in it.

You want to avoid scrubbing your face raw in an effort to remove dead skin. This is only going to make the problem worse, making sores on your face and spreading germs that live inside the pustules of the acne bumps. It is better to exfoliate the skin.

If you have severe acne you may not be able to completely get rid of it. But there are things that can be done to improve the condition of your skin. Get a good exfoliant to remove dead skin. Benzoyl peroxide applied to the skin two times daily has been proven to reduce acne. Finally, use moisturizers that contain no oil to keep from reclogging your pores after cleansing.
